TunnelBar Connect is designed to work with macOS accessibility features. This page describes the app and website separately, including the limits of the checks performed so far.
VoiceOver and Voice Control
The app exposes native controls, labels, state descriptions, and a menu-opening accessibility action. Connection status announcements are localized. Accessibility trees and labels were inspected. Complete VoiceOver and Voice Control workflows still need manual validation.
Keyboard navigation
The app supports native keyboard navigation: ⌘, opens settings, the shortcuts from ⌘1 to ⌘5 select tabs, ⌘W closes the window, and ⌘Q requests an orderly exit. On this website, use Tab to navigate and Enter or Space to activate the appropriate control.
Appearance and motion
The app follows macOS appearance and supports increased contrast and reduced motion through system settings. States use text and accessible values in addition to color. The website offers light and dark themes, visible focus, and reduced-motion styling.
Website and languages
The website uses headings, labeled controls, a skip link, and responsive layouts. It is available in nine languages. Its demo switch exposes its state to assistive technology. Browser zoom is supported. Language and theme choices are preserved between pages.
Validation and feedback
Support for accessibility features is not a certification of conformance. If something blocks you, tell us the page or app screen, macOS or browser version, and the assistive technology involved.
